For those who aren’t quite up to running a marathon, a 5k and a 2-mile walk are also offered, so just about anyone can participate in this fun Event.

Unlike some marathons, there is no qualifying requirement, so anyone can join the race. The entry fees are listed below:

  • Marathon - $85
  • Half Marathon - $70
  • 5k - $30
  • 2-mile walk - $20

Note that the registration fees go up for those who register after January 31st. The night before the race is a fun Carbo Load Dinner and Hula Show. The dinner includes pasta, baked chicken, and vegetarian and vegan options as well. Alcoholic beverages are available for sale at the dinner. Tickets to the dinner and hula show are $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door.

Race packets must be picked up during the Health and Fitness Expo that will take place at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel on March 19th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Expo is a chance to learn about new health and fitness products, chat with experts, and get some training tips.

The course will close and finishers will get a t-shirt, but to be guaranteed a shirt you must register by February 10th. Join the thousands of runners who will come to Hawaii for this popular Event on the Big Island.

Between the races, the health and fitness expo, and the Carbo Load Dinner and Hula Show, this Hawaii Event is a full weekend of healthy fun.
