The Lanai Culture & Heritage Center is an Attraction on Lanai that helps visitors learn about and understand the Island’s rich history.

About Lanai Culture & Heritage Center:
Like the other Hawaiian Islands, the culture and history of Lanai is fascinating. It is also one that few people know much about. A visit to the Lanai Culture & Heritage Center can change that by giving all who visit a chance to learn about the land and the people of this beautiful Island.

This Lanai Attraction opened in 2007, much to the delight of locals who were worried that the Island’s history would be lost. Instead of being lost, more than 1,000 years of history is catalogued at the Lanai Culture & Heritage Center. Visitors and researchers can dig through thousands of documents in an attempt to piece together their family history.

Visitors can browse the collection to learn about the customs of the Island and more. While there is nothing like visiting in person, many of the archives and video exhibits are available online. This means that those with an interest in Lanai can use the Lanai Culture & Heritage Center resources no matter where they are in the world.

Special Events are also held at this Attraction on Lanai. Examples of such Events are concerts, lectures, and family Events. Visit the Center’s website for a full list and description of upcoming Events.
