Attractions on Maui | Kula Botanical Gardens
Kula Botanical Gardens is a Maui Attraction that gives visitors a chance to see some of the local flora.
This Maui Attraction is a can’t-miss for those who want ideas for their own gardens or who just want to enjoy the beauty of artfully-arranged plants and flowers.
About Kula Botanical Gardens:
This Attraction on Maui didn’t start out as a tourist destination. It began as a way for a local landscape designer to show his work to potential clients. This small display garden has grown over the years, and Kula Botanical Gardens now includes 8 acres of gorgeous landscaping displays.
When you visit this Maui Attraction, you will see hundreds of types of plants and flowers. The designers have included many elements to add charm to the gardens, such as rocks, a covered bridge, a koi pond, and other features. You can explore the garden on your own, or you can reserve a guided tour for groups. Guided tours must be booked in advance. You do not have to book self-guided tours in advance.
New features at Kula Botanical Garden include an aviary and a very popular exhibit of carved tiki. The tiki exhibit lets you get a peek at local art during your visit to this Attraction on Maui. The Attraction isn’t very large, so you can visit in just a few hours.
During your visit to the Maui Attraction, be sure to stop into the gift shop where you’ll find locally-made arts and crafts, and other goods. The gift shop is a great place to pick up a few souvenirs that are a little more special than the typical keychain or magnet.
A visit to Kula Botanical Garden is a wonderful addition to any visit to the beautiful Island of Maui.
