The US Army Museum of Hawaii is an Oahu Attraction that history buffs will love. This Oahu Attraction, which is located near many top Oahu Hotels, is a place where you can learn about some of the history of the Hawaiian Islands.

Housed at Fort DeRussy Military Reservation, the best of all military exhibits in Hawaii are found here. The displays and artifacts cover military history from the pre-imperial Hawaii to the post annexation of the US Army during World War II, Vietnam, and Korea.

You will want to check out the many rotating exhibits, such as America's Secret Weapon: Japanese Americans in the Military Intelligence Service. This exhibit focuses on the many 2nd generation Japanese Americans that provided cultural information about the Japanese during WW II and helped save many lives. You will also have a chance to reflect in the Gallery of Hero’s as you review the names of those who received the Congressional Medal of Honor or the Distinguished Service Cross.
