Located on the grounds of the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor, the Biggest Little Airshow in Hawaii will be the highlight of your summer adventures.

About Biggest Little Airshow in Hawaii:
The airshow is performed by pilots from the Academy of Model Aeronautics. With their remoted controlled equipment, they perform feats that are sure to amaze as they fly the model planes in any number of maneuvers.

Some specialty acts will be performed and include such drills as the Pattern maneuver, the 3-D fixed wing and helicopter aerobatic flight, the South Pacific battles, and the all-time favor with children, the “Candy Bomber”.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, special aircraft presentations will pay tribute to Vietnam veterans with several displays and some airshow presentations. As part of a tribute in commemoration of the anniversary, visitors can take part in a free tour of Hanger 79. While you’re in the hanger you can check out the bullet holes from the December 7th, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.

You will be able to view several Skycam drone helicopters as they fly over the museum and above hanger 79. The remote control aircraft will be on exhibit on the ground for a close up examination. Sure to engage the children and adults, the craft lineup will include jets, F-22s, warbirds, Corsairs, helicopter and many others.

The Hanger 79 collection includes the Lt. Ted Shealy Restoration Shop, which is a machine shop that still restores the museum’s aircraft. You will be able to see an F-14 Tomcat, and F-15 Eagle, a MiF-15, and the museums B-17E Flying Fortress. Hanger 79 is also home to the one and only Swamp Ghost.

This is one Oahu Event that is not only family friendly and fun for all ages. Spend a day on Ford Island enjoying the Biggest Little Airshow in Hawaii.
